    "text": "[אסתר ה, א] ויהי ביום השלישי ותלבש אסתר מלכות. נערה מאפרה והפשיטה השק, והלבישה הקב\"ה מעין מלכות של מעלה, שכן הוא אומר מלכותך מלכות כל עולמים (תהלים קמה יג). ותעמוד בחצר בית המלך הפנימית וגו' ויהי כראות המלך את אסתר המלכה. כיון שראה המלך את אסתר, הפך את פניו שלא יראה אותה והיו מלאכי השרת [תולים את פניו שלא בטובתו], והוא צווח ווי, ויהי כראות המלך שהיה סנווירין על עיניו, כשראה אותה האירו עיניו, והושיט לה את השרביט אשר בידו, ולא היה לאסתר כח ליגע בראש השרביט, ויש אומרים מיכאל משכה והגיעה בראש השרביט, אמר לה המלך, מה שאני רואה גדולה היא שאלתך, ששמת נפשך עליך למות, אם היא עד חצי המלכות ותעש, אמרה לו אסתר אם על המלך טוב לתת את שאלתי ולעשות את בקשתי יבא המלך והמן היום אל המשתה וגו'. מה ראתה אסתר לומר ומחר אעשה כדבר המלך, אלא שכל זרעו של עמלק למודים הם ליפול במחר, וכן הוא אומר מחר אנכי נצב על ראש הגבעה (שמות יז ט), וכן בשאול כעת מחר אשלח לך איש וגו' (ש\"א ט טז), וזו כאן ומחר אעשה כדבר המלך, מחר הוא שאעשה כדבר המלך, ויש אומרים שלא היתה שומעת לו, ואותה שעה אמרה לו אני עושה למחר קולווסין של מלך, לכך נאמר ומחר אעשה כדבר המלך.",
