Esther 3:13

וְנִשְׁל֨וֹחַ סְפָרִ֜ים בְּיַ֣ד הָרָצִים֮ אֶל־כׇּל־מְדִינ֣וֹת הַמֶּ֒לֶךְ֒ לְהַשְׁמִ֡יד לַהֲרֹ֣ג וּלְאַבֵּ֣ד אֶת־כׇּל־הַ֠יְּהוּדִ֠ים מִנַּ֨עַר וְעַד־זָקֵ֜ן טַ֤ף וְנָשִׁים֙ בְּי֣וֹם אֶחָ֔ד בִּשְׁלוֹשָׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֛ר לְחֹ֥דֶשׁ שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֖ר הוּא־חֹ֣דֶשׁ אֲדָ֑ר וּשְׁלָלָ֖ם לָבֽוֹז׃

Here the Greek inserts Addition B: The king's first letter (Haman's edict). Its units:

B 1 — The edict's address: the great king writes to all his governors.
B 2 — The king's stated policy: peaceable, gentle rule for the good of all.
B 3 — Haman, second in honor, is introduced as the king's trusted advisor.
B 4 — Haman's charge: a hostile people mixed among the nations, defying royal law.
B 5 — The king's judgment: this nation stands alone in opposition to all mankind.
B 6 — The decree: destroy them all, with wives and children, on 14 Adar.
B 7 — The declared purpose: to make the kingdom secure once for all.
